CHI - Center Attendant (PRN)

Overview:
Under the supervision of the Managerial Chain, independently attends to three areas of The Center, including the locker rooms, playcenter and oversees minimal responsibilities at the front desk.
Maintains a clean and tidy locker room and all other areas of The Center for Health Improvement.
Oversees the delivery, care and pickup of all children, is responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for the children.
Greets members, answer phone, meets members need and inquires.
Position
Summary:
Locker Room Cleans locker rooms by vacuuming, mop, dusting, vanity and shower cleansing, etc.
Picks up soiled laundry.
Inventories and replenishes grooming area and showers with toiletries.
Mops wet shower room floors and collects and reports lost and found items.
Collects, sorts and washes soiled laundry (members clothing and towels); monitors washer temperatures; folds laundry; monitors and reports soap/chemical inventory.
Returns members clean laundry to appropriate lockers and replenishes towel supply; cleans and maintains laundry room.
Ensures fitness area and equipment is clean by picking up trash, vacuuming, and dusting.
Ensures all equipment is in proper working order; removes any non-functioning equipment and reports appropriately.
Play Center Demonstrates leadership and organization to maintain a safe environment for a large group of children ranging in age of 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Ensures all children are checked-in and checked-out of facility software.
Monitor and supervise infants, toddlers, and young children to ensure their safety and comfort while parents are utilizing the facility.
Enforcing the child security procedures to ensure children are picked up by approved guardian(s).
Requires training and knowledge on working with children that may have learning or physical disabilities while maintaining a fully inclusive space.
Create relationships and demonstrate optimal customer service with parents and children to retain members and their children.
Possesses strong communication skills, which are needed to work well with parents and children, along with the leadership team at The Center.
Continuously communicates updated policies/procedures to keep parents informed.
Works closely with Member Services to ensure that all the proper paperwork has been completed regarding childcare and maintains up to date child information.
Inventories supplies and communicates requests for ordering supplies Ensures (also performs duties) the return of all equipment to proper storage area; ensures all equipment is in proper working order; removes any non-functioning equipment and reports appropriately and maintains proper operations.
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing Play Center area including but not limited to toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, countertops, etc.
Daily trash removal and vacuum.
Maintains a daily log of cleaning responsibilities.
Securing childcare area at end of shift to ensure toys, furnishings, equipment, and supplies are stored in appropriate place.
Front Desk Performs customer service functions including but not limited to:
member check-in/out, greeting members and assists members with questions, opening and closing of The Center.
Performs basic point of sales transactions.
Stocking and filling supplies and products.
Cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities.
Infection Control:
Initial and Ongoing training in dealing with infection control.
Training could include but are not limited to, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids and biohazardous materials as it applies to your daily work environment.

Qualifications:
Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS)- within two weeks of employment.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)- within two weeks of employment.
Basic First Aid certification- within the first six months after hire.
Preferred:
High school graduate or equivalence Related experience in childcare service Related experience in customer service Recommended Skills Automated External Defibrillator Basic Life Support Child Care Communication Customer Service First Aid And Preparedness Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
